The Amana Corporation is a household appliances company that was founded in 1934 by George Foerstner. Their first product, an icebox for restaurants and grocery stores called the Electrical Equipment Co cooler (which only had room temperature water), became popular among retailers due to its low cost while still providing quality service with all features needed on shelves today such as digital thermostats or automatic defrosting systems!
